Artist Statement: Marie Sovacool
Marie Buckon Sovacool was born and raised in Cleveland. She graduated from Regina High School in 1981. She lives in Lakewood with her husband Jim and they have four boys and one daughter ranging from 12 to 22 years of age.
She started taking Watercolor classes in 1991 at BayCrafters, which is now Bay Arts, and is currently enrolled with watercolorist Bob Moyer. Marie likes to paint “whatever catches my eye.”
